Six months

I can't believe my baby is six months.  They grow so fast!  Today she had her 6 month check-up and shots, which I never enjoy.

Love that smile!

Just chillin' with the arm propped up

Before her shots, love those rolls

Height: 27.2 inches (92%)
Weight: 17 pounds 3 ounces (74%)
Head Circumference: 44.3 cm (91%)

Eating: She is still nursing and has also started solids, which I love because it allows me more freedom. So far she has eaten: rice cereal, apples, carrots, pears, sweet potatoes, and peas.  She has loved everything except peas.  She eats them, but I wouldn't say she loves them.
Sleeping:  She goes to bed around 8, I wake her up around 10 before I go to sleep to feed her, and then she wakes up between 5-7 to eat.  If she gets up at 5 she goes back to sleep til 730 or 8 and if she wakes up at 7 to eat then she's up for the day.  She takes a morning nap around 9 for 45 minutes, then an afternoon nap for 2 hours from 1230-230 and then a short 30 min evening nap around 5.  I decided I wanted her to start falling asleep on her own.  Usually I wrap her, give her a binkie, and rock her for 5-10 min and she's out.  I don't mind doing it, I actually enjoy the quiet time with her, but the problem is I have to be the one to put her to sleep.  So I decided it's time for her to do it on her own.  So this morning I wrapped her up gave her a binkie and laid her in her crib and left.  She fell asleep within a few minutes with no crying.  Same thing happened for bedtime.  It can't be that easy, right?  I was prepared for lots of tears.  We will see how it continues.
Travel:  She took her longest road trip to date-Las Vegas.  She was a champ in the car; didn't make a peep.  She went boating for her first time on Lake Mead and was great.
Temperament: She is still a really happy, easy going baby.  Izzy loves to make her laugh and Cambry loves to be tickled by Izzy.  She rolls all over the floor, there is no stopping her.  She continues to squawk, she wants to be heard.  She is such an awesome baby; if they were all this easy, I'd have 10 of them....if I didn't have to be pregnant :)
