Cambry turns one!

I can't believe a year has gone by.  I still remember so vividly the call from the doctor to come to the hospital to have a baby.  I was so unprepared-no bags were packed, the crib wasn't put together, my whole family was flying in for Thanksgiving that day.  It was a crazy day!  I truly consider her my miracle baby with all my complications, she was perfectly healthy.
She has changed so much in the year and looks a lot like Daddy.

She is a trouble maker.  Toilet paper and toilets are one of her favorite things.

She doesn't love headbands, but I do!

She loves to stick out her tongue!
Loved her smash cake, so cute! I wish I could take credit for making them, but that's a negative.
She was so excited to dig right in, I thought she might burn herself on the candle.
Family shot
She dug right in.

Yummy

Of course, Izzy wanted in on the fun.
She is a very clean eater.  She doesn't like for her hands to be dirty.  This is probably the messiest she has ever been while eating.

She loved opening presents.

She wasn't too sure about the talking dog.

She loves this car and the music that it makes.

Love this happy baby of mine.

12 month memories:
-She loves to dance.  As soon as music is turned on she starts dancing.
-She loves cheese and bananas.  She doesn't care for green vegetables very much.  She is very clean when she eats.
-She is a great sleeper, goes down with no problem.  Takes 2 naps and sleeps from 7:30pm-7am.
-She started whole milk and seems to like it.
-She started walking a couple weeks before her birthday and there is no stopping her.
-She has 3 teeth. 2 on the bottom on 1 on the top left.
-She loves to say mama, dada and baba (for bottle), but other than that she doesn't say too much.
We love this little girl so much!!

Thanksgiving 2013

Mike's family flew in for Thanksgiving.  It's a rare occasion for everyone to be together so you have to take advantage of it while you can.  Everyone was able to make it except Blake and Benson (Mike's brother in law and nephew).  There were 17 of us under one roof for a total of 16 days!  Not everyone was here for 16 days, but from the arrival of the first to the departure of the last was 16 days!  Good thing we like to have company!  Christina and Danny were great to let people sleep in the basement and make their living room the evening hang out spot. There were crazy, noisy days with 7 kids 4 and under, but it was a fun time.  It is so great to spend time with family.

Mami and Papi arrived first, so Izzy loved having some time with them.  Mami came and watched Izzy's horseback riding lesson.

On Saturday we were able to take some family pictures.

The whole gang.

We decided to take a family shot too.

The 7 active grandkids, now you can tell why the house was crazy (Benson is the only one missing)!

The Bergeron siblings.

The boys

The girls

The best part was watching Izzy and Abi play.  They are only 3 months apart and they played so well together.  Izzy loved having Abi sleep in her room every night.  They were so cute; I wish they lived closer!
It was a great Thanksgiving holiday!

Photos with Skye

Every year I get the girls' pictures taken by Skye Johansen.  I absolutely adore her work.  I took these pictures in the middle of Oct, I just received them at the beginning of Dec. so it takes a long time for her to edit them, etc.  But it is so worth the wait!  How can I ever pick my favorites for Christmas cards?!

Love that smile!

She was crying the whole time she was in the pan, but somehow this picture turned out.

Love this one!

I am such a lucky mommy!

This might be my favorite, can't decide though.

She did not love the cake because she hates for her hands to be dirty. She is such a clean eater.

I love my Grandpa!

On November 9, 2013 my Grandpa, Robert Lewis Grebe, passed away.  He was 95 years old.  My grandma, who is still living, is 94 and they've been married for 74 years!  They have been such a great example to me.  I spent countless summers with them in Montana.  As a child, my grandpa would rock me by the fire in the cabin.
Some of my favorite memories of him:
-His love of the gospel.  He served as Bishop 5 times and a temple sealer for 20+ years.  He sealed Mike and I.
-His prayers.  He was a man of few words, but lots of words when he prayed!
-His rebounder, as he called it.  He jumped on this small trampoline everyday and said that kept him young.
-He did whatever my Grandma asked and he did it with a smile.  Maybe that's the secret for a 74 year marriage.
-His love for genealogy.  He had binders full of names he had found and did all their temple work.
-He played skip-bo with us, even though he didn't love it.
He was such a great man and will be greatly missed!
First flight without Daddy, we survived, no problem!
Izzy and Daddy having dinner at the country club.  Missed this girl like crazy! Mike stayed with Izzy on Thursday and then flew to Denver Friday morning.

My grandma insisted the guys all take one of Grandpa's hats. They kept us laughing.

Dennis taking care of Cambry.

Grandma loves her granddaughters.  If we don't call her every week, she gets mad and you don't want Grandma mad at you.

The cousins at the funeral.

Last time I saw my Grandpa in August 2013.  So glad I was able to see him one last time.

I miss him so much! Such a great man!
