Horseback riding lessons

We all know Izzy is obsessed with horses.  I found someone to do private lessons for a great price so I signed Izzy up.  I don't really care about her learning proper technique and form; I just thought it would be fun for her to ride a horse weekly.
She was ecstatic for her lessons!

She practiced balance.

Everything was going great, I was so pleased with the lesson and thinking how much Izzy was going to love this.  Then the horse got spooked, jumped to the side and Izzy fell off.  Of course, she cried, but she got back on and kept riding.  I thought she might be done with horses, but she is already talking about going back.

Cambry is 2 months

2 months already!  Where does the time go!
Just hanging out at the doctors office.
About to get her shots, poor thing, she has no idea what's coming.
Stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 5 oz (85%)
Height: 23 1/4 in (82%)
I was surprised she was in the 85% for weight since she started so small at 6 lbs 15 oz.  I guess she wants to be a big baby like Izzy was.

Love this cute little girl.

Tried to take a few pics, the better ones are on the camera and I haven't downloaded them yet.
At 2 months she sleeps in 3-6 hour stretches at night.  Obviously I prefer the 6 hour stretches.  During the day she is awake for about 1-2 hours then goes back to sleep.  She takes one long 3 hour nap and 2 shorter naps about 1-2 hours each.  She is very content and happy, rarely cries.  She loves the binkie!  She started smiling, cooing, and reaching for things.  Couldn't be happier; love her so much!

Mami & Papi visit

Mike's parents and sister, Catherine, came to visit for 2 weeks and then Louise stayed another week for the birth of Christina's baby.  It was so fun to have everyone here.  At times, Izzy wasn't sure what was going on with so many babies (Cat brought Elodie who is 3 months old).
Izzy got the horse shirt from my Aunt Ann.  She insisted on putting it on the day it came in the mail.

She loves playing outside.  Louise built Izzy a throne to sit on and she loved eating snow.
Izzy checking out all the presents.

Mami and Papi brought Christmas presents and Izzy loved opening everyone's gifts.
Izzy wanted to help everyone open their presents, not just her own.

SHe had a great time standing on Papi's shoulders and touching the ceiling.

Mami and Papi with 4 of their 7 grandkids.  They are wonderful grandparents.  Izzy and Cambry are so lucky to have such great grandparents who love them so much.  We had a great time while they were here and I really enjoyed having adults to interact with during the day.  I even went grocery shopping without kids; it felt like a vacation!

Cambry's Blessing

We blessed Cambry on Jan. 13, 2013.  It was much quicker than we blessed Izzy, but since Mike's parents were in town we figured it was a good weekend to do it.  My parents were able to fly in too so it all worked out perfectly.
We took a few pictures before church.

Izzy and Cambry weren't very cooperative.

Mike's parents

Kat and Mat arrived back in Utah the night before from their honeymoon, so they were able to join us too!

All of the girls with our new babies-Zeke one week, Cambry seven weeks, Elodie 3 1/2 months.  So fun to have cousins so close in age.

All the girls.  Gotta love Izzy in the back-so not happy to be taking pictures.

The girls with both sets of grandparents.

Bergeron Family

So glad Kathryn was able to be there.  Don't mind my closed eyes

She is so precious.

Love the dress; it's the same dress Izzy wore.

Izzy when she was blessed.  I think they look quite a bit the same.  What do you think?

After the blessing we had soups, bread and dessert.  I am so glad the Smiths and Chambers came to the blessing and spent the afternoon with us.  They are such great friends.

Mami and Papi with their grandkids.

The 3 new cousins.  Even though Elodie is only 2 months older than Cambry she looks so much bigger.  It's amazing what a difference 2 months can make when they are so little.  It was so great that Cat could visit with Elodie; we loved meeting Elodie-she is such a cutie!
Elodie was trying to bite Cambry's arm; it was so funny!

Cambry doing tummy time.  She doesn't mind it as much as Izzy did.

Izzy doing tummy time.  Seriously I think they look so alike in these pictures! I am so glad to have two girls somewhat close in age.  I hope that since they aren't too close (3 years and 1 month) and aren't too far apart either that they will get along.  They are about the same years apart my sister, Suzette, and I are and she is one of my best friends.  I hope it is the same for Izzy and Cambry.

First day of Primary & Zeke

I can't believe she is old enough to attend primary.  The morning was kinda crazy, Mike was in Texas for Kat's wedding, and Christina had her baby!  Izzy was not cooperating and did not want to take pictures.  This is the best I could get.  She LOVED nursery, let's just say primary was not quite the same.  She walked in with her friend Ellie and being the first time mom I am, I thought I had to follow her in and give her a kiss-bad idea.  She started crying and wanted me to stay.  Luckily, our neighbor works in the primary and she came and sat with her.  Hopefully she starts to enjoy it more.  Two of her good friends, Ellie and Gwen, are in her class so that should help.

Sunday, Jan. 6 Christina and Danny had their baby, Zeke Daniel Bajza. We are so happy for them! He weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and is 21 inches long.  He is such a cutie and we are so excited to have 2 babies so close in age!

Zeke and Cambry meet for the first time.
