Guillaume, Dana, and Kids Visit

Guillaume, Dana and the boys arrived on Friday night.  Izzy was excited to see Charles.  On Saturday we went to the Provo Recreation Center.  The kids had a great time swimming.  During the week there were lots of playing, jumping on the trampoline, a couple trips to the splash pad and a trip to BYU bookstore.

We found a nice little spot in the shade and set up camp.  It was a wonderful afternoon!

On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day.  We made some yummy steak, Dana made strawberry shortcake and then opened a few gifts.

While they were here Mike celebrated his 33rd birthday!  It was pretty low key, that morning her flew his drone (his new favorite hobby) and at night we had dinner and cake and ice cream.

It was a great week and we are glad they came out to visit!! It's so fun to watch the kids play and spend time together.

Izzy plays T-ball

Izzy played her first season of t-ball.  Mike got her all outfitted for her game-bag, bat, glove, and balls. It was pretty low key.  Each inning all of the players on the team got to bat.  No one played positions, everyone just lined up around the pitchers mound waiting for the ball.  Izzy would chase people down sometimes and tag them with her glove, even when she didn't have the ball, it was pretty funny.  She enjoyed playing ball with daddy in the backyard and I even went out and showed her my skills :)  I love that she is willing to try all sports, some of my favorite memories are from softball and it all started during my t-ball days on the Bullets.  When I asked her if she liked soccer or t-ball more, she said t-ball because there were more boys on the team!

Luckily for Cambry, Dylan has a little brother, Justin, who Cambry could play with during the games.  She calls him her boyfriend!!

It was a fun season and hopefully she wants to play again next year!

Brielle is 3 months

Another month has gone by.  Brielle continues to be a great baby.  She has a pretty good schedule.  She wakes up at 7:30 and eats, then eats again at 11, 3, 7, 10:30 pm and then she is still waking up once during the night around 4 and eats.  There have been a few nights she has gone til 5 or 5:30, which is awesome, so we are moving in the right direction.  She has started to not love her carseat and will cry if she isn't sleeping or if her binkie falls out. She takes about 3 naps/day-morning, afternoon, and evening.  I feel bad because often her naps are interrupted with running errands and taking Izzy and Brielle places, but she just goes with it.  She is such an easy going baby and we feel blessed to have her in our life.  Izzy and Cambry love to help out and will put her binkie in her mouth.

Weight: 14 pounds even.

Another soccer season for Izzy

Izzy had a great soccer season.  She played with a few of her friends, Ellie and Dylan.  What a difference a couple years make.  Her first season she was crying and didn't really enjoy it.  This year she couldn't wait for every game, never wanted to sit out, was always asking when she could go back in.  She scored several goals each game, 2 of the games she scored 5.  It did help that she was one of the older kids on the team.  She hustled, listened to the coach, and had a great time.  We couldn't be more proud!!  She's already signed up for fall soccer.

These little buddies do everything together!! It's fun to have friends in the neighborhood.  Not sure why I didn't get any action shots, next time for sure!

Brielle is 2 months

Brielle seems so big to me.  I can't get over it; she seems older than 2 months to me!  I want her to stay little.  This past month she started rolling over when I put her on her tummy.  She has also started smiling.  She loves tummy time, oftentimes she just falls asleep on her tummy.  She likes to take naps in her swing and she loves her binkie.  If her binkie is in her mouth, it's all good.

This past week she started doing 5-6 hour stretches at night, which is great. So I usually finish her last feed at 11, she gets up around 4 or 5 and then again at 7:30 or 8. I usually feel pretty well rested.  Mike doesn't go to work until around 9 so sometimes I go back to bed until 9, which is great. We have a really good system, he gets up with the girls and I take care of Brielle. 

During the day she eats about every 3-4 hours.  She doesn't eat for long, usually about 6-8 minutes and sometimes only on one side, which means I have to pump the other side.  I worry that when she only eats on one side she doesn't get enough, but she seems to be fine with me.

These measurements were on 5/22/15, so a little after her 2 month mark.  She's nice and tall, just like her sisters.

Shots are never fun, but she was awesome.  She cried at first, but then just slept the rest of the day.

When she comes out to dinner or to run errands, she usually just falls asleep.

Tulip Festival

I'm pretty sure this was my first outing with all 3 kids.  Sometimes it can be a lot of work to get all the door with all the kids, but I'm glad I did.  It was a beautiful day and the kids really had fun at the Tulip Festival.  We met Claire, Manina, and their kids, so that always adds to the fun.

Claire was superwoman and pushed all 3 kids up the hill in the stroller, while the little kids were running around.  It was a great outing and the first of many with my 3 little ones!

Brielle's Photo Shoot

It's always a little stressful and tiring doing a baby's photo shoot, especially when they are only a week old.  But when you get the pictures back and see how adorable they turned out, it is all worth it. Skye took these pictures and I absolutely love her work!
