Izzy is 6

We celebrated Izzy's 6th birthday on Halloween with family.  The Friday before (Oct. 23rd) we had her friend birthday party.  It was the first time she wanted a Halloween themed party, so everyone came in costumes and we played Halloween games.  She had friends from the neighborhood, kindergarten, and Learning Dynamics.  There were about 20 kids, so it was a little crazy, but fun.

Cake is always a favorite with the kids.

On her birthday we had crepes for breakfast (her favorite).  She had a soccer game, which she scored a goal, and then we went to Texas Road house, which is her favorite because you get to ride the saddle.  That evening we went trick or treating.  It was a great day celebrating my big girl.
Love these girls!

She loves taking selfies with my phone and I love that you can see her missing tooth that she lost the night before her birthday.  Daddy and his girls.
After Texas Roadhouse we opened presents.  She got lots of fun things: horse bracelet, solar system puzzle, snake, paint by number horse, purse, Hunter boots, coloring books, books, and horse stamps.

She is such a fun, sweet, sensitive girl.  She continues to love horses, swimming, playing soccer, t-ball, and gymnastics.  She started kindergarten this year and it's been an adjustment.  She doesn't love going to school everyday and having homework, but she's getting more accustomed to it.  She can read, count to 100 +, count by 10's, add/subtract, and she's learning to write sentences.  It's so fun watching her learn and grow. She is such a joy to have in our family and she's a great example for her younger sisters.  I love seeing her sensitive side.  She says she doesn't want to grow up and move away, we will see how she feels about that when she's a teenager!  Just tonight we had this conversation,
Izzy:  It's sad that Sarah (our neighbor) got married bc she won't live with her Mom.  When I grow up, I'm going to live in the neighborhood.  Well actually, I'm going to live with you.
Me: Sure you can live in the basement.
Izzy:  How about you live in the basement and I'll live in the upstairs?
She makes me smile everyday.

Height: 47.2 inches (79%)
