Suzette and Jon had Posey on Dec. 19. She weighed 10 pounds 11 ounces! We were in Texas until Dec. 12 so we barely missed her! Since she was born I've been wanting to go meet her. I wasn't sure if it was going to happen since I am having a baby soon, but I found a time that worked and flew out. I am so happy I did, she is so cute and precious!

There is nothing better than swaddling a baby and watching them fall asleep in your arms.
Dad has the magic touch. Even when she was fussy, he could get her to fall asleep, no problem. I must admit I was pretty impressed with him.

Loved being able to spend time with Suzette. She is such a cute Mommy. It is so fun watching her and talking to her about all sorts of Mommy stuff. I am so excited we are going to have little girls so close in age.
Suzette picked me up from the airport on Thursday and we grabbed lunch at Chick-fil-a. On Friday we took Posey with us to lunch at Torche's tacos. They have the best queso ever. On Friday afternoon, Mom and Dad got there and Dennis arrived Friday evening. It was fun to get to see family. We just hung out around the house and relaxed, which is exactly what I needed.
I flew home Saturday afternoon. It was a great trip and I'm so glad I was able to make it happen, even at 32 weeks pregnant!
