Summer Canada Visit 2013

On Monday night we took a red eye flight to Canada.  We had a 4 hour delay in Detroit.  Thanks to Mike we were able to spend it in the sky room at the airport. So we had food to eat and a nice, quiet place to sleep.  We got to Ottawa Tuesday around noon.

There was lots of swimming at Mami and Papi's house.  Izzy loved swimming with her cousins.  Papi built a fire one night and the kids enjoyed playing outside. 

The kids played so well together; it was awesome.  They played outside and in the basement non-stop.  Izzy is so lucky to have a cousin so close in age.  I only wish we lived closer, thank goodness for airplanes!

On Friday we went to Mike's uncles house.  They live in the country and Izzy was in heaven!  Antoine had baby birds/ducks in his room and Izzy couldn't stay out of there. 

They had tons of farm animal toys, which Izzy loved. 

Their dog, Maggie, is also a favorite. 

Saturday night we went to the family reunion.  There was a playground where we at dinner, which was awesome for the kids.

Sunday we went to Granby to visit Mike's Grandma, aunt, and cousins. They have a park across the street from their house and the kids loved the park.

Monday was Canada Day (which is equivalent to July 4th in the States).  That morning we went to a pancake breakfast at church, then we went to Ottawa for the festivities.

Cambry chilled the entire day in her carseat.  She didn't get out once; she's awesome!

We had such a great time, the only complaint was we didn't stay long enough.  Next year we will stay longer for sure!
